Il mare si sta scaldando e anche le acque del Golfo di Trieste stanno subendo una profonda trasformazione.
Da più di trent’anni, la sentinella del cambiamento dei parametri meteomarini nella riserva MaB UNESCO di Miramare è la stazione C1 di OGS, che assieme alle osservazioni subacquee delle comunità ittiche e algali condotte dall’Area Marina Protetta di Miramare danno una misura delle trasformazioni in atto.
Giovedì 23 gennaio alle 18 vi aspettiamo al Caffè Tommaseo di Trieste all’incontro pubblico “Il contributo della ricerca allo sviluppo della Riserva MaB Unesco” nel corso del quale verranno approfonditi i principali temi di ricerca e le ricadute legate ai cambiamenti climatici in atto e i possibili interventi di mitigazione degli effetti sul Golfo di Trieste.

The sea is warming up and even the waters of the Gulf of Trieste are undergoing a profound transformation.
For more than thirty years, the sentinel of the change in meteorological parameters in the MaB UNESCO reserve of Miramare has been the OGS C1 station, which together with underwater observations of the fish and algal communities conducted by the Miramare Marine Protected Area give a measure of the transformations taking place.
On Thursday 23rd January at 6 p.m. we are waiting for you at Caffè Tommaseo in Trieste at the public meeting “Il contributo della ricerca allo sviluppo della Riserva MaB Unesco” (The contribution of research to the development of the MaB UNESCO Reserve), during which the main research themes and the effects of climate change on the Gulf of Trieste will be discussed in depth.
